I hope the Thanksgiving Break was as festive for you as it was for me. Today, I noticed academically active students who were ready to learn. This made me feel so happy to know that we all came with the purpose to learn. Reminder: Friday is Early Dismissal. Expect to have your child's interim come home. All grades for me will be updated no later than Wednesday.
Here is tonight's homework:
Reading: Work on Book Club assignment and read 20 min(There will not be a Reading Log this week. If you look at the grade book, several students have not turned in Reading Logs. This will give your child the opportunity to work on the alternate assignment that will go home tomorrow.)
Math: Complete Lesson 18 and 19; Study 6's multiplication- Quiz Thursday
These two lessons may be difficult. If your child does not understand it is okay. Just have them do what they can in the meantime. Here are some links to help and to practice these concepts:

Social Studies: Review Chapter 2: Native Americans- Open book and notes test on Thursday
Your child has been instructed that even though this is open notes and book, they need to at least read Chapter 2. We have read most of this in class, but all information on the test is coming from both the book and the notes they took. They can use the 20 minutes of reading time to read their Social Studies textbook.
